AMDA Preview Classes

Join us for our new complimentary preview classes to experience AMDA firsthand and get a feel for studying a craft. Taught by our esteemed industry-professional faculty, these virtual classes will introduce you to an AMDA classroom where you will participate in a live sample class in your chosen discipline: Acting, Musical Theatre, and Dance. Or a combination of all three! This is open to all interested students.

All Preview Classes occur via Zoom: 4pm-5pm PST (7pm-8pm EST)

Class Options

• Acting for Camera: A mix of on-camera technique, text analysis, cold reads and fun! Participants will be introduced to the skills necessary to successfully act and audition using camera basics. There is no preparation required, and all workshop materials will be provided by AMDA.
• Dance Theatre: Learn storytelling through the art of dance with a physical warm up and a combination from classic Musical Theatre repertoire.
• Musical Theatre: Technique creates artistry and success. Bring a song of any style that excites you and also a music track to the class and you will be coached on the first steps of the technique required to land a job in Musical Theatre.
